Our small, successful client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Machining Engineer to join their dynamic team! You’ll work hands‑on to support process development initiatives and drive improvements in a CNC environment.

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Machining Engineer
  • Lead manufacturing process development initiatives to improve throughput, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Analyze current processes and identify areas for optimization in machining, assembly, and testing
  • Conduct testing
  • Develop, document, and implement new or improved manufacturing methods, workflows, and tooling
  • Support continuous improvement activities such as lean initiatives, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to introduce new products or equipment into production
  • Create and maintain CAD models for tooling concepts, fixtures, and engineering documentation
  • Provide hands‑on technical support to production teams and troubleshoot process‑related issues
  • Monitor process performance using data‑driven methods and drive measurable improvements
Qualifications of the Manufacturing Machining Engineer
  • BSME (Mechanical Engineering) or BSIE (Industrial Engineering) required
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or process engineering role
  • Experience supporting machining, assembly, and/or product testing operations
  • Proficiency with CAD software (Solid Works preferred)
  • Familiarity with GD&T, PFMEA, and process documentation preferred
  • Background in tooling/fixturing design or automation support preferred
  • Optimization of production in a machine shop is ideal
  • Experience with integration of robotic arms is a plus
