Who we are looking for….
Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, proactive leader with the ability to manage a team in a fast-moving environment and drive the successful performance of production.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following components:

• Support the Operations Manager in leading and managing the Production team, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Oversee daily production activities to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched in full and on time
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and legislative requirements across all production processes
• Organising production activities ensuring objectives and targets are achieved within required time frames.
• Manage quality control, grading, ripening, packing, weighing, and labelling of fresh produce
• Maintain accurate inventory, reporting, and documentation, ensuring robust internal controls
• Promote a safe, high-performance workplace aligned with company policies

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following capabilities:

• Proven experience in a similar position and environment is essential.
• A respectful and considerate leader with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical and industry knowledge including safety & quality standards, operational efficiencies and process orientated
• Excellent leadership and problem solving skills - working with a wide range of people todriveteam culture.
• Proven results in effectively managing production costs, labour, scheduling and inventory.
• Knowledge of machinery, equipment maintenance and manufacturing practices.
• Be achampion of health & safety with a focus on continuous improvement.
