Enviro Vantage is looking for a Jr. Heavy Equipment Operator
.

Essential Functions
  • Excavation
  • Site Work
  • Demolition
  • Building Take-Down
  • Water, Sewer, and Utility Work
  • Willing to get out of seat and help crews as needed
  • Must be focused on SAFETY at all times
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment, including basic repairs
  • Tracking scheduled maintenance and notifying supervisors if past due
  • Filling out performance records to track equipment use and report problems
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of excavation experience required
  • OSHA 10 or higher construction training preferred. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire
  • Hoisting 2A and 1C Licenses preferred. If do not hold, willing to get license within 30 days of hire
Working Environment / Physical Demands
  • Work may be performed under extreme weather conditions including hot and cold ambient temperatures.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50 to 100 pounds.
  • Qualified Candidate must be able to pass a physical examination by medical professional for the anticipated work requirements.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and be able to obtain access to military bases across the United States.
  • A valid driver’s license is required, as well as a safe driving record as measured by company policy.
  • A current DOT medical card required or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
