Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Location: Walmart Supercenter #3535, 35 Fresh River Rd, Epping, NH

Position Title: General Facilities Maintenance Technician

Summary: Join Walmart’s local and regional team as a General Facilities Maintenance Technician. In this role you will perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of Walmart Stores, equipment, and fixtures. Working under the supervision of the General Maintenance Manager, you will follow maintenance schedules, conduct inspections, perform repairs, and use hand and power tools as required.

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
• Comfortable working at heights and moving up and down ladders frequently
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in various temperatures
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related trade

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders, support Store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

• Individual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, and qualifications.

• Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years’ experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related trade.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Eligibility for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a plus.

• Completion of a 2‑year Vocational or Technical trade program.
• License in a related trade in the city or state where the job is located.
• Intermediate level proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
