About the Role

As a Lunchtime Teaching Assistant, you’ll support children during lunchtime routines, helping to create a positive, calm and enjoyable experience.

You will:
  • Support childrenduringmealtimes, encouraging independence and good eating habits
  • Help createa calm and nurturing environment during lunch and transition times
  • Assist with supervising children indoors and outdoors
  • Support children’s wellbeing,comfort and emotional needs
  • Work closely withthe team tomaintainroutines
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene

Youdon’tneedpreviousnursery experience –we’llprovide the training you need.

You’llneed to be caring, reliable and enjoy working with children and as part of a team.

You will:
  • Have a genuine interest in working with children
  • Be friendly,patient and supportive
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Reliable and motivated to learn new skills
  • Ideally, some experience working with children (formal or informal)
  • Basic understanding of child development or early years (desirable)
