Consultant Ecologist – Salary: £27,000 - £43,000 –

Pebble Recruitment is representing an established Environmental Consultancy seeking an ambitious Ecologist or Senior Ecologist to join their growing team in Surrey or Kent. The client prioritises high‑quality services and staff well‑being, with a focus on sustainability.

• Undertaking protected species surveys
• Building tenders and creating complex fee quotations
• Producing complex technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, Habitat Management Plans, BREEAM reports, HRAs and EcIAs)
• Managing medium to large‑sized projects with the ability to track financial progress

• 3 years+ of industry experience
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 protected species licence (preferred)
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the understanding of how to apply them correctly
• Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management membership is preferred

• Competitive salary, £27,000 – £43,000 depending on experience
