Staff Accountant

Kromek has an opening for a Staff Accountant working to assist the Financial Controller in such areas as daily cash management, accounts payables, accounts receivables, and bank reconciliations.

• Manage all aspects of the cash account. Complies and analyzes daily cash account entries
• Multi-task in fast-paced environment
• Process customer receipts both ACH/FT and check payments. Assist with customer collections
• Review daily, weekly, or monthly reports including Bank accounts, A/P and A/R Aging reports and Balance Sheet to ensure accuracy of reports and timely vendor payments
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
• Participate in the month end close process by creating and entering month end journal entries

• B.S. Degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred
• 2 or more years of general accounting experience (Required)
• Knowledge of maintaining general ledger accounts
• Ability to quickly learn the applicable accounting software packages
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge level of Excel and related programs
• Ability to work independently as needed and with the Financial Controller
• This is an office-based position (5 days per week in the office)
