Order Entry Specialist

A Order Entry Specialist manages the lifecycle of furniture procurement, from placing vendor orders and tracking production to scheduling delivery and installation. They ensure accuracy, handle logistics, manage inventory, and resolve issues with shipments or damages. This role is essential for maintaining client satisfaction and meeting project deadlines.

• Order Management: Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for furniture, fixtures, and materials.
• Logistics & Tracking: Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to monitor lead times, confirm orders, and track shipments.
• Delivery & Installation: Schedule and oversee deliveries, often coordinating with logistics teams, warehousing, or onsite installation teams.
• Client & Vendor Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for status updates, resolving issues with backorders, damages, or discrepancies.
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports to manage stock levels.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records, including quotes, invoices, and project documentation.

• Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders/projects simultaneously.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for vendor and client interaction.
