DESCRIPTIONOF WORK
This position supports several departments within Selinsgrove Center by completing clerical tasks that keep information organized and workflows moving. The role involves preparing documents, assisting staff and maintaining accurate records for daily operations. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Visitor and Call Screening:
Screen visitors, phone calls and incoming mail and direct items or people to the correct department - Document Preparation:
Use computer programs to create reports, letters, agendas and vouchers while keeping all information neat and confidential - Supply Requests:
Take inventory and input SRM orders for needed food, office or housekeeping supplies and routine APR requests - Meeting Support:
Take meeting minutes, transcribe notes and distribute information to appropriate staff - Timekeeping Tasks:
Record staff time, review attendance sheets for accuracy and prepare TK5 forms when changes occur - Maintenance Coordination:
Review work orders, report emergency repairs and input requests into the facility system - Record Management:
File employee performance reviews, maintain demographic information and keep department files organized - Mail Room Duties:
Sort incoming mail, weigh outgoing mail and apply postage and tracking as needed

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

You will not have the option to telework in this position. - Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes). - You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. - Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
