Role Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and direct matrix colleagues, analysts, managers, contractors, and vendors supporting GMX data/analytics work.
- Set priorities, manage capacity, review deliverables, and ensure high-quality execution.
- Own global GMX data/analytics/reporting portfolio across SAP BW, SAP BPC, SAP S/4
HANA integrations and related platforms. - Provide strategic direction for GMX solution design, data architecture, reporting enablement, operational stability, and modernization.
- Drive roadmap planning balancing transformation, regulatory expectations, business demand, and BAU continuity.
- Manage GMX demand pipeline; evaluate work by business value, urgency, regulatory/compliance impact, feasibility, and capacity.
- Lead end-to-end delivery (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, stabilization, support transition) and ensure production readiness.
- Establish governance/controls and ensure SDLC, change control, testing/validation, audit/compliance, and data governance requirements are met.
- Perform senior risk assessment/mitigation for production/compliance/data integrity issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in IS/CS/Finance/Engineering/Business or related.
- 10+ years SAP BW and/or SAP BPC and enterprise reporting/data platform delivery with hands‑on leadership in: data ingestion, advanced data modeling, BW query development, AfO, BPC planning functions, in‑depth ABAP, end‑to‑end troubleshooting.
- Deep experience with GMX/Earn In/Finance close/certifications/reconciliations (or related financial reporting).
- Demonstrated leadership of teams/matrixed or contracted resources.
- Functional SAP S/4
HANA SD pricing condition knowledge; working SAP material master knowledge. - Finance domain knowledge: CO-PC and FI-GL; finance master data governance.
- Communication/organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with SOX/GMP/audit/compliance/validation or financial control expectations.
- SAP certification (BW/BPC/SAC); SAC or SAP BOBJ tools.
- Regulated industry (pharma/life sciences).
