Position OverviewA nonprofit, integrated health system in Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Intensivist to join its hospital-based adult critical care practice. This is a high-acuity, team-oriented opportunity at a regional referral center committed to building a world-class center of excellence in critical care.
Full-time position
15 shifts per month (mixed days and nights)
Five or fewer night shifts per month

Care spans a broad and diverse ICU population, including:
Medical ICU
Cardiovascular ICU
Trauma ICU
Surgical ICU
Kidney Transplant ICU
Neuro ICU
64-bed critical care tower designed for advanced monitoring and workflow efficiency
Multidisciplinary team with highly trained Advanced Practice Providers
Advanced clinical capabilities, including:
Point-of-care ultrasound
Videolaryngoscopy
Bedside bronchoscopy
Prone positioning
ECMO initiation with transfer to qua ternary center
Modern radiology suite featuring 3T MRI
Comprehensive Cardiac Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
All ICUs designated Beacon Units (Silver and Gold)
Teaching opportunities with Emergency Medicine and Neurology residents
Base salary: $450,000 per contract year
