• Status: Full-time position with flexible 15 shifts per month (mixed days and nights, with 5 or less nights per month)

We are seeking a full-time Intensivist to join its hospital-based adult critical care practice. This is a valuable opportunity to work in a high-acuity regional referral center delivering advanced, team-based care to critically ill patients in northwest Pennsylvania. Our vision is to create a world-class regional center of excellence for the care of critically ill patients.

• Join a multidisciplinary team, including highly trained Advanced Practice Providers to support the service line.
• 64-bed critical care tower equipped with advanced technology and designed for optimal patient monitoring and staff efficiency.
• Availability of point of care ultrasound, videolaryngoscopy, bedside bronchoscopy, easy access to prone positioning. Ability to initiate ECMO followed by transfer to qua ternary center.
• Modern radiology suite with 3T MRI and patient-centered layout.
• Opportunity to teach emergency medicine and neurology residents
• All ICUs are Beacon Units (Silver and gold)
• Comprehensive Cardiac Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center

Qualifications:

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school
• Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program completion
• Accredited Critical Care Fellowship Program completion
• Open to recent fellowship-trained physicians
• American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
• DEA certification
