Summer Student Workers for MEP's - Chester County campus

At the present time, vacancies exist for Summer Student Workers for MEP's - Chester County campus within the Migrant Education Program, Student Services Division of the CCIU. This position will work with migrant children & families in the Chester County region.

• Assist with implementation of Summer Program supplemental educational programs for elementary, middle and/or high school students in the Chesco Area
• Work with students one-on-one and in small groups to provide academic support
• Assist with regular communication with Migrant Education staff
• Assist with facilitation of the involvement of parents in the education of their children through translation/interpretation, information, training and referrals

• Currently enrolled in high school required
• Bilingual speaking (Spanish) strongly preferred
• Experience working with bilingual/bicultural students preferred
• Experience working with preschool, elementary, middle and/or high school students preferred
