Professional Learning Specialist, Bilingual Literacy; Part-Time, Contractor

• Competitive compensation of $450/day or $50/hr for session facilitation, with additional pay for travel and preparation
• One‑time bonus of $550 for delivering the first Spanish or biliteracy session during the summer season

• Facilitate high‑quality professional development in English and Spanish Literacy programs for teachers and school leaders
• Develop and maintain expertise in Amplify’s Literacy programs and related professional development offerings
• Participate in paid remote and onsite training to become a certified Professional Learning Specialist
• Deliver professional development sessions for approximately 30‑40 educators per session during the summer season
• Track and complete session logistics and deliverables in a timely manner

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in teaching and/or coaching educators in Pre‑K to Grade 12
• Proven knowledge of adult learning principles and experience in delivering learning experiences to adults
• Strong knowledge of best practices for implementing high‑quality instruction in literacy, math, or science
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate onsite and remote professional development in English and Spanish
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Spanish

• 2+ years of experience in teaching or coaching educators using an Amplify program
• Experience and expertise in bilingual education
• Familiarity with diverse student populations, including English learners and special education students
• Year‑round availability for continued contract work beyond the summer season
