AboutThe Role
As a Programme Facilitator, you lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of our Space sessions. You strive to create engaging, nurturing experiences for whānau and pēpi.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and set up of the sessions, ensuring any equipment is safe and clean
- Leading discussions, music and movement, play, crafts, and kai time
- Building relationships with whānau and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment
- Ensuring session admin tasks are completed on time
You are reliable, work well with others, and feel confident supporting whānau in a group setting. This role offers a chance to build your experience, develop new skills, and make a positive impact on families’ parenting journeys.
The Essentials- Strong knowledge of Te Whāriki, ECE regulations, and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Passion for Playcentre philosophy and empowering whānau to feel included and engaged
- Confidence using technology to support learning and administration
- Minimum Course 3 of the Playcentre Education Diploma or equivalent ECE Qualification (L4 or above desired)
- Has a current First Aid Certificate or is prepared to complete one
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
