New Hope-Solebury School District is seeking applicants for an Instructional Assistant to provide support for students with IEPs at the High School for the remainder of the  School Year.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree;
Experience with working with secondary level students required, PA Special Education Certification and/or teaching experience preferred.

• Participate in daily and long-range planning and communication with the teachers.
• Provide support to student instructionally and behaviorally in a small group or individually
• Administer assessments and collect data when needed.
• Supervision of students as necessary.
• Work with assigned student to supervise in lunch and other non-instructional time.
• Maintain individual and collective record keeping for assigned student.
• Provide all necessary supports, adaptations, and modifications for students with disabilities as assigned such as but not limited to: toileting, assistance with student’s menses care, personal grooming, daily self-help tasks, transfers to and from wheelchairs, support for participation in general and special education classrooms.
