Qualifications:
- Minimum two years post-secondary (48 credits), Associate Degree, or passing score on the Title I Paraprofessional Assessment test administered through I.U.5.
- Computer and office skills preferred.
- Good communication skills required.
- Ability to work with elementary age students in a supportive and guiding capacity.
- Knowledge of elementary school office, attendance, and library preferred.
- Willingness to learn new software or equipment as needed.
- Such alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Building Principal
Job Goal:
Support the delivery of the educational program to students.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Work with individual or small groups of students, reinforcing instruction as directed by the teacher.
- Support students completing classroom assignments, homework, and projects.
- Assist teacher with routine detailed or clerical duties.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required.
- Follow established procedures to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Monitor student behavior in support of the school's plan.
- Report progress regarding student performance and behavior.
- Support school operations by assisting with front door security, phones, mailings, filing, attendance, document preparation, library and/or computer data entry.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties in support of school activities.
