Erie, PA 16531 (On-Site) Duration: 12 months Required 10+ years of experience

Experience leading multiple projects in parallel and ensure commitments are well established and met with regular updates to stakeholders. Experience and familiarity working within engineering design framework for example a well-established design review/tollgate process.

• Concept Development / Down Select Detailed Analysis
• Validation Strategy Validation Execution Production Launch
• Strong decision making
• Will be responsible for deviation review and disposition of non-conforming parts.
• Independent drive and follow-up
• Will be leading engineering engagement in PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) requiring coordination with internal team and external vendors.
• Strong communication, presentation skillset to leadership, interaction with cross functional peers, providing update to various stakeholders (production, reliability, sourcing, etc.)
• Experience and ability to work hand on in validation and product troubleshooting navigating progress and addressing roadblock as they may present themselves.
• Technical experience in:
• Drawing, documentation and procedure development. Strong understanding of GD&T.
• Fatigue evaluation and life predictions parent material SN curves, weld evaluation, etc.
• Mechanical components design analysis techniques Bolted Joint, FEA, CFD, etc.
• Root cause analysis techniques containment and correction
