Project Engineer
JOB LOCATION:
Erie PA WAGE RANGE*: $45 - 50/hr job NUMBER: 02 Contract to hire: MUST BE BI-LINGUAL IN SPANISH
JOB DESCRIPTION The Project Engineer is responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, predicting, and managing all other technical tasks of assigned projects to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from start to finish. Assist in the design of piping and equipment as requested by the Applications Sales team and the customer for air and gas purification systems Interpret process design (P&) and related sales documentation such as customer specifications, internal datasheets, etc.
Establish project objectives, procedures, data collection methods, and performance standards within parameters of corporate policy Prepare scheduled or necessary updates of engineering activities and determine equipment requirements Inform supervisors and fabricators promptly of any changes, and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met Oversee budgetary, scheduling, and project databases, and report regularly to engineering manager on progress as well as on problems that could significantly affect cost or schedule Manage compliance with standards and specifications for quality control and assurance Precisely follow written and oral instructions and perform detailed work thoroughly, neatly, accurately, and efficiently Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others Equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities
* While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerations.
