Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Plant Controller for a manufacturing company located in Chester County, PA. You will oversee the financial operations of the manufacturing facility. This position requires extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, including 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both accounting and finance, along with proficiency in working with large ERP systems.

Additionally, excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for effectively conveying key financial information to corporate leadership. Exposure to publicly traded company standards are a plus.

• Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of financial reporting and analysis.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and internal controls.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial transactions.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop comprehensive budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to corporate leadership, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong background in the manufacturing industry
• Experience working with large ERP systems (Oracle Preferred)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
