Financial Controller

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in West Chester, PA, is seeking a seasoned Site Controller to oversee the plant’s financial operations. This critical position serves as a strategic business partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team, driving financial performance, optimizing operational efficiencies, and supporting long‑term organizational objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, hands‑on leadership, and experience operating in a fast‑paced production environment.

• Serve as the principal financial leader for the plant, providing insights and guidance to support executive decision‑making.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, multi‑year planning, and monthly forecasting.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reporting packages, including variance analyses and identification of risks and opportunities.
• Oversee all aspects of cost accounting, including standard cost development, BOM and routing reviews, and production variance analysis (PPV, labor, overhead, scrap, inventory).
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing operations.
• Manage inventory valuation, cycle count processes, and reconciliation activities.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Foster a culture emphasizing accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, with strong manufacturing exposure.
• Expertise in cost accounting, inventory control, and ERP systems.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work on‑site daily and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Highly visible position with direct interaction across plant and corporate leadership.
