  • About Us:

    ** At Bucktail Medical Center, a Critical Access Hospital in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds, we are dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to our community and the surrounding area. Our Radiology Department provides patient care to a diverse population ranging from pediatric to geriatric. We provide Imaging for our Emergency Room, Inpatients, and Outpatients from our Community Clinic and/or other local facilities.

    We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join our team and contribute to our mission of improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
  • Position Overview:

    ** Bucktail Medical Center is looking for a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to operate specialized radiographic equipment and provide high quality diagnostic images while following the ALARA principle and providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work efficiently w/patients and medical staff.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills to positively impact the experience and care for our patients and their family.
  • Ability to work independently utilizing critical thinking skills.
  • Seek assistance when appropriate and necessary to ensure patient safety.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Efficient using the EMR and PACS system, creates CDs of images as needed for records requests.
  • Application of radiologic technical factors for all patients ranging from pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics that are in accordance with professional standards such as ALARA.
  • Compliance and knowledge of our policies and procedures.
  • Maintains continuing education credits required for the ARRT.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Radiography from an accredited institution.
  • American Heart Association CPR (BLS)
  • Child Abuse Clearance (Act 33)
  • State Criminal Record Background Check (Act 34)
  • FBI Fingerprinting Clearance (Act 73)

Pay: $34.00 - $46.00 an hour depending on experience
