Windows Server, Systems Administrator
Responsibilities
- Administers Windows development, test, and production servers including reloading, re-imaging, patching, GPO configuration, and OS hardening.
- Diagnoses and resolves complex Windows OS, Active Directory, and server connectivity issues.
- Performs daily monitoring of Windows systems, services, and performance; initiates proactive remediation.
- Installs, removes, and upgrades Windows-based software packages and agents.
- Owns Level 2 Windows-related tickets through resolution, including root cause analysis.
- Provides system evaluation reports and contributes to operational recommendations for Windows environments.
- Updates system records, ensures licensing compliance, and maintains accurate configuration data for Windows assets.
- Creates runbooks and how-to guides; trains Level 1 analysts on Windows procedures.
- BA/BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination.
- Strong experience with Windows troubleshooting and server administration.
- Ability to support 24×7 operations and rotating shifts.
- U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required.
- May also hold Linux credentials if permitted.
