Position Overview
The Netskope Solutions Engineer will work closely with customers and partners as their primary point of contact for feedback and issue resolution. They will advocate for customers to the HQ Support team, provide feedback to Product Management, and support product enhancements. This role requires heavy travel within the territory and participation in sales engagements across the U.S.

- Articulate the high‑level benefits of Netskope's architecture to senior security management up to CISO and CIO.
- Construct best practice materials for presentations, demos, and Proof of Concept/Value exercises, and lead win strategy.
- Take an active role in customer success, resolving satisfaction issues and escalating cross‑functionally when needed.
- Identify customer needs and position the company’s product as the best solution that delivers business value.
- Present the Netskope cloud security solution to prospective customers.
- Create and deliver product demonstrations.
- Gather technical requirements from customers.
- Participate in trade shows as necessary.
- Provide insights on competitive solutions and differentiate between them.
- Create evaluation test plans with customers and partners, managing the process to a successful conclusion.
- Lead Proof‑of‑Concepts (POCs).
- Present at conferences and seminars.
- Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs.
- 7+ years of experience as a Solutions/System Engineer with a proven track record and demonstrable skills presenting technical information at the executive or architect level.
- Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking to both internal and external executive audiences.
- Ability to scale from whiteboard discussions to working with security architects to influence CISOs.
- Passion for delivering customer satisfaction, even with difficult customers.
- Hands‑on experience installing, configuring, and administering Linux, macOS, and Windows systems.
- Proficiency with mobile device technologies (MDM/MAM) and operating systems such as Android and iOS.
- Knowledge of certificates, key‑management systems, HSM, and related protocols.
- Hands‑on experience with information security solutions such as Web Proxy, NGFW, Security Gateways, remote access, site‑to‑site VPN, SAML/SSO, DLP, and data security, and ability to write regex expressions.
- Experience working with Cloud Identity Providers, SCIM, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and SD‑WAN deployments and integrations.
- Experience with Active Directory services including ADFS, and working knowledge of Azure AD desired.
- Experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of the broader threat landscape and ability to distill technology trends into simple terms.
- Ability to travel within the region and sell cloud‑based technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and REST API frameworks.
- Prior experience with other vendor Cloud Security solutions.
- Advanced security certifications such as CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, CCSE, GCFW, PCNSE, JNCIS‑SEC/JNCIP‑ENT, GCIH, etc.
- Agile Scrum certification (CSPO, CSM, CSP) or Project Management Certification (PMP).
- Advanced network technology certifications (CCNP, CCIE, CCSP, JNCIE, etc.).
- Relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or related fields.
The salary range for this position is $177,500—$182,000 USD, in accordance with state and market conditions. The On Target Earnings (OTE) comprises base salary plus commission.
