Location & Eligibility Candidate must be located within a commutable distance to Newtown Square, PA and be able to work in the office three days per week. This position requires U.S. citizenship and access to customer data. SAP NS2 does not offer visa sponsorship. Internal transfers require manager approval.
Key Areas of Responsibilities- Support the strategic design and execution of the Supplier function between SAP NS2 and SAP SE, including aligning objectives, targets, and policies.
- Act as a conduit between SAP NS2, SAP SE, and local, regional, or global parent company counterparts to achieve desired results.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between NS2 and U.S. Government stakeholders regarding GSA contractual requirements, obligations, and performance.
- Prepare and submit a commercial subcontracting plan annually to the Government's Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO).
- Serve as the main point of contact with the Government for all matters related to the subcontracting plan outlined within the GSA.
- Oversee the collection of subcontracting data across the enterprise.
- Collect size‑and socio‑economic type assertions from subcontracting partners.
- Drive continuous process improvement for more efficient business results.
- Present analysis and recommendations to management; apply Supplier Management knowledge to execute sourcing projects.
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and methods.
- Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best methods for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
- Provide expertise to procurement project teams and participate in purchasing cross‑functional initiatives.
- Relevant dimensions:
Experienced in their field, Ambassador, Best Practice Creator, Coach / Knowledge Broker.
- Lead one or more complex projects requiring in‑depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Lead and execute NS2 projects in cooperation with internal strategic customers independently.
- Guide procurement project teams and participate in purchasing cross‑functional initiatives.
- Follow sound project management practices.
- Oversee compliance with the SAP Global Purchasing Policy and all other applicable policies.
- Maintain all necessary documents to ensure transparency and audit compliance.
- Execute selection, sourcing, implementation, and development of global / regional suppliers with SAP SE.
- Support supplier negotiations with SAP SE GPO in a virtual environment.
- Create and manage NS2, regional, and local contracts.
- Establish standards and requirements for procurement activities, as well as supplier and customer management.
- Perform reporting for all procurement‑related topics and GSA related obligations, including one Summary Subcontracting Report per year.
- Deliver strategic initiatives that generate savings, increase operational efficiencies, and mitigate risk exposure.
- Provide training, reports, and knowledge sharing within area of expertise; act as knowledge broker.
- University degree preferably in Business Administration, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2–5 years of procurement experience, including developing and executing complex sourcing strategies, high‑value RFX execution, managing high‑value requirements, complex pricing negotiations, and negotiation of complex legal contract terms.
- Professional certification in Supply Management or equivalent.
Target annual combined range for this position is $59,900–$134,600 USD. Actual offer will be within that range and is dependent upon education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, and company and personal performance.
