Must haves- Residential/ single family modular experience
- Ideal candidate can be onsite in Union County, PA when not at client sites. (Relocation assistance offered.)
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in wholesale building products, modular/offsite construction, or related industries.
- Proven success managing multi-location sales teams of 15+ members.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue targets and expanding market share.
- Strong understanding of both business development and account management strategies.
- Proficiency in setting KPIs, managing performance, and coaching for results.
- Solid financial and business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L influence.
- Proficiency in CRM systems; experience with construction-specific software a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently between locations and customer sites.
The Director of Sales will lead and develop a high-performing sales organization of 20+ representatives across multiple locations, with responsibility for driving revenue growth, market share, and profitability in the wholesale building products and modular/offsite construction markets. The Director will oversee sales performance, conduct ride-alongs, provide coaching, set and monitor KPIs, and manage escalations while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership – Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives, market trends, and competitive positioning.
- Team Management – Lead, coach, and mentor 20+ sales representatives across multiple locations, with potential for team expansion.
- Performance Management – Establish clear sales goals and KPIs, track performance, and implement strategies to exceed targets.
- Business Development – Drive new market penetration and strategic account acquisition while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
- Market Expertise – Maintain deep knowledge of the wholesale market, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
- Field Engagement – Conduct ride-alongs and on-site customer visits to support reps, strengthen client relationships, and ensure alignment with company standards.
- Sales Operations – Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management; ensure CRM and reporting tools are effectively utilized.
- Escalation Management – Serve as the senior point of contact for resolving major customer or operational issues.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with operations, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution of customer projects.
