Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least three years of supervisory experience are preferred.
- Physically able to perform essential duties including using hand and power tools, operating equipment, and lifting or carrying heavy objects.
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated skills in facility management are required.
- A valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and reliable personal transportation are necessary.
Full time, 12‑month position.
ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Director of Facilities serves as a working foreman and is responsible for leading staff and overseeing daily operations. Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, this role prioritizes and assigns work orders to appropriate personnel. The Assistant Director plans, schedules, organizes, and coordinates all facilities‑related work and uses computer software to track and communicate project status. This position also requires availability to respond to emergencies and support snow removal efforts during off‑hours.
