Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and coordinating outgoing shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery to domestic and international customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Finished Goods walk-in and freezer. The ideal candidate is a team-player, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of two years shipping work related experience
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities RequirementsComputer, typing, word processing, email, prioritizing and proofreading skills. Ability to work in a team environment, handle a fast pace and meet deadlines, ability to use general office and courier computers and websites.
Physical Effort and Dexterity Requirements Mobility FactorsLifting – 60 lbs., Standing/Sitting – 65%, Walking – 15%, Bending/Reaching – 20%
Visual Acuity, Hearing, and SpeakingNormal vision, hearing, and clear speech
Environmental ConditionsNormal fluctuations in heat and air conditioning, occasionally enters walk-in unit cooled to approximately 4-8 degrees centigrade. Fumes, dust, noise.
