General responsibilities include checking parts according to the process sheets, completing proper paperwork (Alerts, CARs, RFC, Process Sheets, SPC, etc.), handling of scrap, gauging, startup and shutdown of the lathe, adjusting sizes/change inserts, changing tools and preset, and following all required safety/environmental procedures.

Must be available for 2nd or 3rd shift.

Manufacturing background preferred. Working knowledge and ability to operate production machines, make adjustments, gauge and measure parts, perform SPC and quality checks, and complete X & R charts.
