Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team at King Precision Solutions. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of our machined parts, from prototype orders to high-volume production runs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on finished products, in-process components, and First piece acceptance.
• Read and interpret machine drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Utilize mechanical gauges such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and thread gauges.
• Conduct inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) or Optical Gaging Products (OGP) if experienced.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
• Work with minimal supervision, following directions and meeting production deadlines.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a machine shop or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical gauges and measurement tools.
• Familiarity with CMM or OGP systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
