Our client, a Fortune 250 global manufacturing leader, is seeking an early-career Manufacturing Engineer to join its Erie, PA area operation. The company is well known for developing and promoting from within and for a culture that values initiative and teamwork
This is a great opportunity for a new or recent engineering graduate who enjoys hands-on problem solving and wants to build experience in manufacturing, automation, machine design, and process improvement.
Role Overview :- Work directly with manufacturing and shop-floor teams to solve production and process issues
- Support assembly equipment, automation, machine design, and process improvements
- Participate in equipment and fixture design using CAD
- Gain exposure to PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated manufacturing systems
- Work on continuous improvement and problem-solving projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Internship/co-op experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing
- Exposure to CAD, automation, controls, or machine design helpful
- Hands-on, collaborative, and comfortable working directly with operators and production teams
