• Provide high‑quality nursing care to adult medical‑surgical patients across multiple hospital units
• Float between med‑surg floors based on census and acuity, adapting quickly to new teams and workflows
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and perform treatments per provider orders
• Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and responses to interventions in the EMR accurately and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, patient‑centered care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans to support recovery and compliance
• Prioritize and manage multiple patients, responding rapidly to changes in condition and escalating care as needed
• Follow evidence‑based protocols, infection control, and safety standards to reduce risk and improve outcomes
• Precept or support newer nurses when assigned, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative culture
• Use Trusted Health’s digital platform and tools to manage assignments, scheduling, and communication efficiently

• Medical‑surgical nursing

• Active, unrestricted RN license in state of practice
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

• Minimum 2–3 years recent acute care medical‑surgical RN experience
• Previous float pool or multi‑unit experience preferred
• Telemetry competency and dysrhythmia recognition preferred
• National med‑surg certification (e.g., CMSRN, RN‑BC) preferred
