Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality nursing care to adult medical‑surgical patients across multiple hospital units
- Float between med‑surg floors based on census and acuity, adapting quickly to new teams and workflows
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and perform treatments per provider orders
- Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and responses to interventions in the EMR accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, patient‑centered care
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans to support recovery and compliance
- Prioritize and manage multiple patients, responding rapidly to changes in condition and escalating care as needed
- Follow evidence‑based protocols, infection control, and safety standards to reduce risk and improve outcomes
- Precept or support newer nurses when assigned, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative culture
- Use Trusted Health’s digital platform and tools to manage assignments, scheduling, and communication efficiently

- Active, unrestricted RN license in state of practice
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2–3 years recent acute care medical‑surgical RN experience
- Previous float pool or multi‑unit experience preferred
- Telemetry competency and dysrhythmia recognition preferred
- National med‑surg certification (e.g., CMSRN, RN‑BC) preferred
