Join the dedicated team in UPMC Hamot's Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, where you'll play a critical role in providing specialized cardiac care for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures. What We're Looking For
+ Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience required
+ Previous cardiac, electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred
+ Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work effectively in a procedural setting
+ Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
In this role, the nurse is essential to providing direct patient care throughout the procedural experience, supporting efficient lab operations, and ensuring the appropriate staffing needed to maintain procedural volumes and patient access within the EP Lab.
Title and salary will be determined based upon education and nursing experience.

About the Role
The Senior Professional Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse and member of the care delivery team responsible for setting standards of excellence in patient care. This role has responsibility, authority, and accountability for the delivery of nursing care through leadership, collaboration, communication, and clinical expertise.
The Senior Professional Staff Nurse:
+ Provides and coordinates care for patients and families across the continuum of care
+ Serves as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff
+ Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
+ Demonstrates leadership, professional accountability, and a commitment to nursing excellence
+ Supports a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Responsibilities:
+ Identifies opportunities for clinical quality as well as workplace improvement.
