Role Description This is a part-time (32-36 hrs), on-site Nurse Practitioner role based in Newtown, PA in beautiful Bucks county. The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, including conducting comprehensive assessments, obtaining medical histories, performing focused physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing evidence-based treatment plans for pelvic health and related conditions. Daily responsibilities include managing follow-up visits, monitoring treatment progress, prescribing medications or therapies as appropriate, and delivering patient education on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and treatment compliance.
The role also involves collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and medspa professionals to coordinate care, documenting all encounters in the electronic health record, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The Nurse Practitioner will contribute to practice growth by supporting patient outreach, maintaining high standards of service, and promoting a respectful, inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain), with national board certification (e.g., FNP, AGNP, or WHNP).
- Clinical experience in women’s health, pelvic health, urogynecology, primary care, or a related specialty, preferably in an outpatient or clinic setting.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and chronic disease management, including comfort with sensitive and intimate health concerns.
- Ability to perform and assist with office-based procedures relevant to pelvic health and medspa services (training provided as needed).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, gender-neutral, and non-judgmental patient care.
- Proficiency with electronic health records, documentation standards, and basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage a steady patient caseload while maintaining attention to detail and time management.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams and to work independently within scope of practice.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development, including training in pelvic floor therapy, sexual health, and medspa treatments.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program; current BLS/ACLS
