Job Summary:

Join our dynamic team at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center in Erie, Pennsylvania! We are seeking a talented and dedicated RN Educator to support clinical excellence throughout our skilled nursing facility. As an RN Educator, you will lead orientation and onboarding for new clinical staff, provide ongoing education and skills training, and assist with quality improvement initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse who loves teaching, coaching, and elevating staff performance.

About the Role:

As an RN Educator at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center, you will be responsible for providing education, skills training, onboarding, and ongoing competency development for nursing staff. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), and department leaders to ensure staff are confident, prepared, and delivering high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities:

• Lead orientation and onboarding for new clinical staff

• Provide ongoing education, skills check-offs, and competency evaluations

• Support CNAs, LPNs, and RNs with hands-on coaching and real-time training

• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and best-practice implementation

• Maintain compliance with state/federal regulations and facility policies

• Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and develop solutions

• Promote a positive, supportive learning environment across all shifts

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania

• Prior experience in skilled nursing/long-term care strongly preferred

• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing staff

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Organized, energetic, and committed to resident-centered care
