Professional Staff Nurse - South Cardiac Acute Care

UPMC Hamot, a Magnet®-designated hospital, is seeking a full-time Professional Staff Nurse to join our 5 South team.

This position offers rotating day/night shifts with weekend requirements.

5 South is a 46-bed medical-telemetry unit serving both cardiac and medical patients. The unit specializes in caring for individuals with:

• Coronary Artery Disease
• Acute Myocardial Infarction
• Heart Failure
• Arrhythmias
• Pneumonia
• And other acute cardiac and medical conditions

Twenty-five rooms are equipped with bedside cardiac monitoring for complex cases. The unit also provides telemetry and intermediate-level care for post–cardiac procedure patients.

Title and salary will be determined based on education and experience.

The minimum rate of pay for a non-BSN Professional Staff Nurse is $36.50/hour.
