This position focuses on providing basic health care, supporting resident independence, and helping maintain a clean and safe environment. It plays an important part in ensuring high-quality care for every resident. As a Nurse Aide, you will perform the following duties:
- Resident Care: Provide hygiene support, meet physical and emotional needs, and maintain a clean environment
- Rehabilitation Support: Assist staff with restorative programs that help residents build independence and confidence
- Communication
Skills:
Use therapeutic communication and notify supervisors about changes in resident status - Daily Assistance: Help residents with meals, personal tasks, bed-making, and proper care of belongings
- Activity Support: Escort residents to appointments and encourage participation in programs and activities
- Skill Development: Attend training to strengthen job skills and improve care quality

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM), with a 30-minute lunch or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM), with no lunch.
- Rotating on and off duty days
- Working weekends and holidays in accordance with assigned schedule
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

- Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; or
- Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.
- This position is assigned to a long-term or specialized care facility and requires active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
