The Quality Engineer plays a key role in ensuring that supplied and internally manufactured materials meet stringent quality standards. This position focuses on managing supplier quality performance, conducting audits, resolving nonconformances, and driving continuous improvement in defect reduction and documentation accuracy. Responsibilities:

• Manages and conducts virtual, on-site, and 3rd party supplier quality audits
• Owns the quality relationship with FTI's suppliers
• Manages and documents vendor supplied nonconforming issues
• Drives reduction in supplier defects (PPM)
• Manages Supplier Corrective Action Processes (SCAR)
• Handles supplier returns
• Manages Supplier Quality Documentation and Certificates of Conformity
• Supports with the supplier part qualification
• Provide support on internally manufactured nonconforming materials
• Special Projects as assigned by the Quality Manager

Qualifications:

• Technical degree OR 10+years of experience in the Quality Industry
• CQE certification is preferred
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings
• Solidworks or CAD experience
• Comfortability engaging with suppliers
• Understanding of math concepts as well as basic measurement skills
• Familiarity with ISO
  9001
• Computer literacy

This position offers profit-sharing bonuses on a quarterly basis (in addition to posted salary).

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $75000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. 401(K) Company matches 2%- half of profit sharing bonuses goes into retirement account Employee Assistance Program, Dental, Vision, FSA, Short and Long term disability, health insurance
