The SOC (Security Operations Center) Security Analyst will be assigned to further the security mission within the client’s Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) and Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The SOC Security Analyst is responsible for delivering operations within the GPS control room across all client sites in the respective region. They will work with the client’s leadership to ensure operational best practices to ensure the physical safety and security of our people, buildings, and assets.
As a SOC Security Analyst, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.
Requirements- Age 21+
- Security experience 1+ year
- Valid driver’s license (AU Driver Policy Requirements)
- Work schedule:
11 PM - 7 AM, Saturday through Wednesday
The SOC Specialist supports monitoring and response to internal and external security events with potential impact on senior leadership, staff, business assets, reputation, and facilities.
- Assists in conducting video patrols, monitoring security camera feeds, and investigating security alarms.
- Contributes to the analysis of security incidents and monitoring of open-source media for security-related events.
- Provides support in executing security policies, maintaining physical security systems, and communicating significant matters to the management team.
- Assists in monitoring internal and external security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Supports monitoring of open-source media for security-related events and potential impacts.
- Provides timely and accurate information to support the protection of people, assets, intellectual property, and facilities.
- Follows security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and contributes to process improvement.
- Assists in monitoring and maintaining physical security systems.
- Documents and communicates relevant information to support decision‑making processes.
- Communicates effectively with peers, partners, customers, and employees.
- Participates in the continuous improvement of SOC processes and procedures.
- Maintains awareness of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Position requires sitting, heavy phone usage, and screen exposure for extended periods.
- Must be flexible with schedules and willing to work holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Potentially high‑stress environment with exposure to multiple aspects of emergency incidents.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic knowledge of access control, video management, and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with incident management processes.
- Analytical mindset with ability to identify and elevate critical issues.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Awareness of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Interest in threat intelligence platforms and tools.
- Understanding of basic network security concepts and protocols.
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions vary by client site.
- Execute RSOC and GSOC standard operating procedures, operating the SOC in shift patterns as required.
