Armed Security Officer (On-Call)
Location:
Erie, PA
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Shift: On-Call | 1st Shift Only
Required Availability: 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Job Description:
We are seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer to provide on-call security services in Erie, PA. This position requires a strong commitment to public safety, professionalism, and readiness to respond as needed. There is no set schedule; candidates must be available to work on an on-call basis during first-shift hours.
Requirements:
* Valid PA ACT 235 Armed Certification
* Prior armed security experience
* Valid License to Carry Firearms (LTCF)
* Personally owned firearm
* Duty belt and approved holster
* Ability to be on-call and available 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
* Strong situational awareness and sound judgment
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Dedicated to the safety and protection of the public
Responsibilities:
* Maintain a safe and secure environment
* Observe, report, and respond to incidents as required
* Act as a visible deterrent to unsafe or unlawful activity
* Interact professionally with the public, clients, and staff
* Comply with all company policies and applicable laws
Position Type:
* On-Call
* No guaranteed hours
* 1st Shift availability required
Compensation:
* $20.00 per hour
