UPMC - - - Responsibilities:
Inspect facilities specific mechanical air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment to identify possible deficiencies and/or malfunctions;
Interpret information from blueprints, instruction books and sketches to maintain equipment;
Perform preventive maintenance and proactive steps to ensure equipment is properly maintained;
Repair and replace major components of building systems (cooling towers, gear boxes, main air handler components, pumping systems, etc.);
Maintain, troubleshoot, and document water treatment systems including Legionella control
