Our direct client is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a Document Digitalization initiative. The API Engineer will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions for an enterprise‑wide document generation, eSigning, and management system along with accelerating digital transformation through the modernization of document process flow. This is a hands‑on development role focused on business value delivery utilizing Agile / Scrum.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in creating and building solutions for the front‑and‑backend document solutions, leveraging Microsoft Azure Products and Dev Ops toolkits. You will be heavily involved in defining API specs and responsible for building User Interfaces, APIs, and services. You will work with the team to participate in building pragmatic solutions and solving complex business requirements within the context of digital transformation initiatives.
This position requires someone who is self‑driven, has excellent communications skills (verbal and written), and can effectively work with disparate teams throughout a diverse business community. This role is also requiring someone with visionary thinking abilities and the capacity to learn new technologies and drive innovative solutions impacting multiple applications in the landscape.
Key Responsibilities:- Full development lifecycle involvement, including requirements review, technical design, configuration, and development of scalable solutions to enhance workflows and business processes impacting multiple systems.
- Work with front‑and‑backend services and cross‑functional team of engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Build and maintain APIs that are for internal and external exposure.
- Design and build web applications with enhanced UX.
- Work on products that are built in Agile and Dev Ops delivery model.
- Establish and adhere to the coding standards and follow release strategies best practices.
- Handle maintenance and technical support on major and minor bug fixes and other issues.
- Digitize document process and enable electronic signature.
- Perform tests locally as well as in an integrated and distributed environment.
- Contribute to engineering communities of practice and documents work.
- Review peer code and provide constructive feedback.
- Work with Product Owners, key business stakeholders, and cross‑functional development team to support business value delivery.
- Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and help improve the development process and business value delivery.
- Experience using Microsoft Azure Products and Dev Ops toolkits.
- Experience in the design, development, and deployment of serverless cloud‑based microservices in Microsoft Azure such as Function Apps.
- Experience in various technologies such as React, NodeJS, Node.js, Type Script, or JavaScript.
- Software engineering experience in building APIs and supporting back‑end services with Relational DB or/and No
SQL DB. - Experience building and maintaining RESTful and Graph
QL APIs that are for internal and external exposure. - Experience with cloud migration and cloud‑based Azure API Management / Gateway offerings.
- Experience in Azure Logic Apps and Swagger Hub is a plus.
- Experience designing and building cross‑environment automated test scripts in JavaScript and Jest.
- Experience in conducting API testing using tools such as Postman, TOSCA, or Ready
API. - Experience working with third‑party Docu Sign APIs is a plus.
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Development methodologies (SAFe is a plus).
- Experience with in financial services is a plus.
