An industrial equipment manufacturer near the Erlanger, KY area is looking for a R&D Engineer
. You will lead product development projects. You will research, design, and develop new welding equipment, tooling and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with robotic welding cells and automation systems.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
Responsibilities:- Design mechanical, electrical and welding systems
- Work with customers and engineering teams (identify, address and solve issues)
- Support equipment installation and troubleshooting
- Prepare engineering documentation and technical drawings
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required (Mechanical, Electrical, Welding, or related)
- At least 2 years’ engineering experience within manufacturing (welding, automotive, or automation industries preferred)
- Experience with CAD software
- Experience with robotic cells & automation systems is preferred
- Experience with product development & prototype evaluation is preferred
- Experience with industrial electrical systems is a plus
- Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch & lift up to 30 pounds
