Job SummaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic and detailed oriented Customer Service Associate to act as the primary point of contact and support for our customers, while acting as a liaison between the customers, sales team, and production. This person will oversee an order from "start to finish"; including: order entry and processing, shipping coordination and specs, delivery and invoicing. This person will also support the production department with coordinating product needs and assist with external supply orders as needed.
Rate: $22hr
Shift: Day Shift, Monday - Friday
Primary Duties- Answering phones and processing purchase orders via telephone, e-mail or websites
- Coordinating shipping both domestically and internationally
- Researching and responding to customer inquiries regarding status of open orders/shipments
- Addressing customer issues and ensuring customer problems are accurately resolved
- Daily projects and issue-resolution using analytical and problem-solving skills
- Helping salespeople by being a liaison between customer and the salesperson
- Helping production department by coordinating product needs
- Ordering some products from external suppliers
- Work in other areas of Welding Alloys as workload allows
- Occasionally help in warehouse when needed
- Excellent customer service skills– coupled with accurate data entry
- Strong written, and follow through skills
- Detailed oriented
- Multi-tasker
- Proactive and "can do attitude"
- Team Player
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Experience with Net Suite is a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude with good office skills
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- HAZMAT familiarity (Not required)
- Prior shipping coordination experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
