IT Audit Analyst - Erlanger, KY or Decatur, IL

This is an Exempt position; reports to the Associate IT Audit Director – Internal Audit.

The Information Technology Audit Analyst is responsible for completing audits and projects outlined in the Internal Audit Plan. The role plays a critical part in strengthening the control environment by providing value‑added recommendations across ADM, including audits of complex computer applications, processes, and technological solutions such as Operational Technology (OT) and Cybersecurity. Candidates should have audit experience in information systems and/or cybersecurity and demonstrate proficiency in performing information systems audit work that conforms to professional standards.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Structured audits of ADM’s data centers and business applications
- Pre‑implementation reviews of IT systems
- Partnering with business management to perform IT risk assessments and analysis
- Supporting IA processes such as risk assessments, audit planning and execution, issue management, and special department initiatives for continuous improvement
- Managing the scope, testing, and reporting of results with oversight by Audit Management

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Accounting, or Business.
• Minimum five years of experience in Information Technology, Operational Technology, Cybersecurity, or Audit, with specialized expertise applicable to highly technical audits.
• Proficiency in basic audit principles, skills, and techniques, ensuring efficient and professional IT audits.
• Deep understanding of IT audit and Information Security concepts, including IT risks, exposures, vulnerabilities, and general controls implementation.
• Knowledge of Information Systems/Technology principles, controls, concepts, standards, and procedures within a business environment.
• Willingness to pursue certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, AAIA, AAISM, or other cybersecurity certifications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong analytical, interpersonal, time‑management, research, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and independent decision‑making capabilities.
• Preferred experience with large ERP systems and technology implementation projects, and familiarity with operating systems (IBM Mainframe zOS, OS400, VMS, Windows, Linux), databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2), and business/financial applications (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
• Understanding of IT Operational Functions such as IAM, Asset Management, Cybersecurity, and Data Privacy.
• Experience with AI/ML systems, model validation, data quality assessment, or reviewing MLOps artifacts is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry standards/frameworks including MITRE, OWASP Top‑10, NIST 800‑115, NIST 800‑53, NIST 800‑171, NIST Privacy Framework, NIST AI RMF, CSA ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894, ITIL v3, COBIT, and FAIR.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels.
• English proficiency required; additional language fluency in German, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Chinese, or Portuguese is a plus.
• Must be willing to travel 30‑40% of the time, including international travel, and work well in a team environment.
