Import Coordinator Agent; A3

Import Coordinator Agent – responsible for multi‑tasking and directing multiple employees. The role may involve contacting customs officials to obtain release of incoming freight and resolve delays. The coordinator will manage DHL systems for entry processing and tracking.

• Participate in processing inbound/outbound freight for clearance through U.S. Customs.
• Provide information to, and communicate with, DHL Origin and destination stations on the status of delayed shipments.
• Monitor day‑to‑day operations of the team, prioritise and assign tasks.
• Multi‑task and direct multiple employees.
• Communicate with customs to ensure compliance.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Strong understanding of operations and customs processes.

• Strong analytical and complex problem‑solving skills.
• Must be able to qualify for an airport security badge and/or customs clearance for DHL facility and pass a drug screen.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of ACA, HMS & DCE.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop and climb stairs/ladders.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Speak, read, and understand English.
• Knowledge of DHL programs.
