* Position Summary:

* Import Operations Team lead- is responsible to multi-task and direct multiple employees. Communicate effectively with customs.

* Duties and Responsibilities:

*
* + Process inbound and outbound freight shipments for U.S. Customs clearance.

+ Screen and review shipments to ensure compliance with OFAC and all applicable government regulations.

+ Accurately enter and maintain data for all OFAC-related shipments.

+ Communicate shipment status updates and delays with DHL origin and destination stations.

+ Review invoices, shipping documents, and shipment contents for accuracy and regulatory compliance.

+ Collaborate with the ITAC team to support compliance efforts and resolve shipment issues.

+ Conduct research and gather necessary information to facilitate timely shipment clearance.

+ Maintain professionalism and accuracy while working in a fast-paced operational environment.

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience:

· Strong understanding of operations and customs processes.

Skills:

+ Proficient in computer operations and data entry systems.

+ Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

+ Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

+ Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, and climbing stairs/ladders.

+ Flexibility to work PM shifts and adapt to operational requirements.

+ Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions.
