Fabrication Inspector - Intermediate HRLY

GE Vernova (NYSE: GEV) is hiring a Quality Control Inspector at its Erlanger, KY Service Center. The role focuses on ensuring quality standards for both manufactured and purchased products through inspection, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Work schedule:

Monday to Friday, 6:45AM–3:15PM, with optional weekend work/OT.

• Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting or returning unacceptable materials.
• Approve in‑process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to production.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re‑work, and confirming re‑work.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
• Maintain and calibrate measurement equipment.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
• Audit manufacturing processes as required.
• Complete Non‑Conforming Reports with root cause analysis.
• Provide training and guidance to inspectors on best practices.

• 7+ years of fabrication experience.
• Certified Weld Inspector preferred.
• Proven experience as a quality inspector or in a comparable role.
• Strong attention to detail and results‑driven approach.
• Familiarity with quality measurement equipment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of quality control standards and inspection methodologies.
• Commitment to safety procedures while operating equipment.
• Solid computer skills required; SAP experience preferred.

Compensation: $28.00 per hour.
