Job BriefKable Workforce Solutions is hiring an Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our client. This role combines mechanical technology with electrical and electronic circuits knowledge to support production operations, testing, and maintenance of unmanned, automated, robotic, or electromechanical equipment.
Typical Day- Maintain an ongoing desire for learning and improvement in electro‑mechanical operations.
- Understand client operations throughout the day.
- Perform all maintenance functions, including electro‑mechanical tasks in team and individual environments.
- Demonstrate electro‑mechanical operations for the client.
- Take an electronics course from an accredited university (preferably a mechatronics course).
- Use programming knowledge on client equipment.
- Work with PLCs and client programs.
- Interpret electronic schematics.
- Well‑rounded maintenance experience across departments.
- Completion of a related vocational training program or certification preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of electronic systems, PLCs, and equipment.
- Knowledge of Allen‑Bradley software including RSLogix 500 and RSLogix 5000.
- Familiarity with Siemens S7 software.
- Ability to use a computerized work order system.
- Strong time management and problem‑solving ability.
- High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures.
- Teamwork and cooperation with leadership and peers.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Complex problem solving in all job aspects.
- Sitting at workstation ~20% of time; standing/walking ~80%.
- Lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds.
- Twist, reach, and bend as required.
- Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects.
- Operate various machine and hand tools.
- Work in environments with moderate risks (moving parts, pallets, trucks, machines).
- Wear provided PPE, including hearing protection and steel‑toed shoes.
