CNC Machinist
- Mill Operator
The Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist will work at the Erlanger, KY Service Center to service and manufacture large scale, power generation equipment along with their subassemblies by following blueprints and specific work instructions.
As the CNC Machinist
- Mill Operator you will:
- Work in a shop environment safely with zero accidents and/or injuries
- Set-up and operate various CNC Machine Tools Horizontal/Vertical Mills
- Read CNC programs, familiar with G & M codes
- Make minor edits to CNC programs
- Read and interpret Engineered Blue Print drawings
- Understand and apply geometric tolerances
- Set up and safely use various inspection tools and gages (i.e. inner diameter (I/D) & outer diameter (O/D) Mics, calipers, Pi-tape, bore gages, Tri-mics, thread gages, etc...)
- Machine to required tolerances of.001" -.005"
- Determine machining feeds and speeds and tool selections
- Work effectively with team to ensure successful delivery to customer
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is $33- $40/hr the specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. If you meet the criteria for experience, the pay rate is $40-$48/hr.
* The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
